Henry Selick is back with a new stop-motion motion picture, “Wendell & & Wild,” and that suffices to get anybody excited. Selick, who helmed “The Nightmare Prior To Christmas” and more, co-wrote the script here with Jordan Peele– and Peele also provides his voice to the film, in addition to regular collaborator Keegan-Michael Secret. The pic follows devil siblings who coordinate with a goth teen, and honestly, that sounds like the kind of motion picture made simply for me.
TIFF Run-throughs:
Including the voices of Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key, and Angela Bassett, this aminated comedy-adventure from BAFTA winner Henry Selick (Coraline) follows a set of devil bros who ally with a goth teen to defeat their archnemesis.
